Financial portfolio manager, Do Investment AG, announced today the integration of ESG capabilities from Clarity AI, the leading sustainability tech company. The investment firm, based in Munich, will leverage AI-powered insights and deep regulatory expertise to deliver on its sustainable investing philosophy grounded in ESG criteria, the BVI criteria, and the standards of Article 8 funds under the Sustainable Finance Disclosure Regulation (SFDR).

Through the use of big data and machine learning, Clarity AI offers objective and actionable sustainability insights for better-informed decision-making. These capabilities will support Do Investment AG in their ESG risk assessment of companies and portfolio construction, to better reflect preferences and investment policies, whilst reporting on them in a simple and intuitive way.

Corinna Schütz, Board Member at Do Investment AG, said: “We’re happy to have found one tool that allows us to implement a homogeneous process from fund screening and selection, fund and entity reporting to end-customer reporting. Clarity AI’s sustainability expertise helped us navigate the range of standards and regulatory requirements.”

Beyond disclosure obligations under the SFDR, applicable in the European Union, Do Investment AG also follows Germany’s industry-wide standards, such as BVI and FNG criteria, which are also supported by Clarity AI.

“We are excited to work with Do Investment AG, and cover their sustainability needs for portfolio construction and reporting,” said Andri Stocker, Regional Director DACH at Clarity AI. “In an ever-changing regulatory environment, harnessing technology-based tools becomes essential. This is the only way for investors to navigate the intricacies of the requirements, ensure data quality, and streamline reporting processes.”
